Daniel and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the farm on Sunday, for Eva and Adam’s day-after photoshoot. It was such a beautiful day and such a pleasure for us to be out of the city for a change. It was quite something to work with a horse, but Dexter was very compliant and a fantastic model!

Unfortunately we only have time for a mini-post to recap this wedding, as things are crazy as ever around here (hopefully we’ll soon be able to share what we’ve been up to) but I hope this satisfies the curiosity of Julie and Patrick! We had an amazing day with them (and had some of the best coconut-y punch ever) and now they’re off on their European honeymoon. Patrick arranged everything and surprised Julie with the destination at the airport (I knew, I knew!) and I must say, that is just so darn romantic! (hint, hint, Daniel…)

Some of you might recognize Marlon, since he has been shooting weddings for us for 2 summers now. Tonight, it was his turn to be on the other side of the lens, with his fiance Ally!

I have to say, the uniqueness of every wedding is really determined by the details the bride and groom choose to include. Marc is the talented designer who created our logo and helped us with our re-branding, so needless to say, we had quite high expectations for their details! Marc created a “MKL” logo that was used throughout their stationary (MK are his initials, KL are hers). My favorite element is their invitation which they blew up and displayed at the reception, featuring the logo surrounded by small print listing everything they love (check that out below). They are also the first couple of the summer to bring props into the photobooth, which was, obviously, a huge hit (as you will also see)!
Marc and Karen are at a spa retreat in Arizona right now so I’m feeling pretty jealous… Nevertheless, we thought we’d hurry things up a little to give them a peak at their photos. Here are a few of our faves from the day:
