When Marina and Hicham started planning their wedding, there was one guest who they hadn’t accounted for… their soon-to-be son, Julien. Needless to say, in the midst of the craziness that is wedding planning, it was quite a surprise for both of them to discover they were expecting a child! After postponing the wedding to start their family, when the wedding day did come around, Julien was an integral part of the day. Even when he wasn’t around, his presence was felt through the incredible bond his parents have. This little family is so full of love, it was just a pleasure to spend the day with them.

Marina, Hicham and Julien live in Morocco and Daniel and I can’t wait to take them up on their offer for a visit!

The month of August has been by far our busiest one the summer so we apologize for being slow on posts lately!

Alana and Eric’s wedding was one of many for us at the Montreal Science Center. It’s definitely a challenge for us to make it different for each couple, but that’s part of the fun too! I know the gloomy, rainy weather was a disappointment for Alana and Eric, but I have to admit that it gave the venue a different look, one that I found very cozy and romantic. I never wish for rain on anyone’s wedding day (I would never do that to our brides!), but let’s just say I’m never sad to see it either!

Alana joked that she initially wanted a barn, country wedding and that her mother, who played a big part in the planning of the wedding, “definitely captured that feel.” Having had the chance to spend the day with Alana and Eric, I’m convinced that they would have been blissfully happy getting married anywhere.
